Historical figure of the Miss France competition, Geneviève de Fontenay died at the age of 90 overnight from Monday to Tuesday, his entourage announced on Wednesday. “She is a woman to whom we owe a lot, she was a feminist”, declared Alexia Laroche-Joubert, president of the Miss France society, on BFMTV. “She was an extraordinarily popular woman,” said Jean-Pierre Foucault, host of the Miss France election, on the same channel.
