The year 2000 was a historic one as three gorgeous ladies from India won the titles of Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific and made Indians proud. Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza were crowned with three consecutive titles, which was nothing short of a brilliant achievement. Miss Asia Pacific winner Dia Mirza has shared a beautiful picture of the trio in her latest Instagram post that is bound to hit you with a bout of nostalgia.

Dia shared the picture on her profile with the caption, "Throwing it back to the year 2000 with @priyankachopra @larabhupathi." The photograph features Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Dia herself after their win at the Miss India beauty pageant. In the picture, the trio can be seen dressed in black ensembles and posing for the camera with a smile. The grace and elegance oozing from the picture has left netizens amazed.

Miss Universe 2000 winner Lara Dutta also commented on Dia's post. "Three girls with a heart full of dreams and each other to lean on!! @priyankachopra @diamirzaofficial," she wrote.

After their win, Lara, Priyanka and Dia etched their names in Bollywood. While Priyanka Chopra went ahead to star in several Hollywood films like Matrix 4, Baywatch and the TV series Quantico, Lara and Dia made waves in Bollywood with their unique roles. Incidentally, Lara Dutta and Priyanka starred together in the movie Don 2.

Dia Mirza debuted in Bollywood with the film Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein opposite R Madhavan. She went on to star in films like Dus and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
