Indian actress and beauty pageant winner Neha Dhupia has confirmed she is pregnancy after weeks of rumours.

Dhupia shared the news, along with a picture with husband Angad Bedi, on social media.

She took to Twitter to reveal "new beginnings".

Pregnancy rumours surfaced within days after Tumhari Sulu star Dhupia and Bollywood actor Bedi getting married in June, reports BizAsia .

The Indian media had reported her wedding was rushed before the baby bump appeared.

Who is Neha Dhupia?

Neha Dhupia is a beauty pageant winner turned Bollywood celebrity.

She has become well known for movies in Hindi and Punjabi.

Having made her acting debut in a stage play and appearing in a music video for Euphoria, Dhupia later ventured into modelling.

She went on to win the 2002 Femina Miss India pageant and made it to the Top 10 of the Miss Universe competition.

Dhupia made her screen debut in 1994 Malayalam film Minnaram.

Her Bollywood debut came in 2003 with the action thriller film Qayamat: City Under Threat, and was later nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance in the film.
