Olivia Rogers was our Miss Universe Australia 2017 and two years on we have to admit, we're still low-key obsessed with her. Her honesty about mental health issues and body image are a breath of fresh air as we scroll through social media. Her sense of style is pure fire. And did we mention she owns the world's cutest dog? Let's explore everything about Miss Rogers that makes her just so damn exceptional!
Q. Who is Olivia Rogers and why is she famous?
A. We first met Olivia Rogers when she won Miss Universe Australia 2017 and went on to represent our nation at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, which was ultimately won by South African beauty Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.
Olivia was completing Year 12 at Seymour College when she was scouted by a model agency. She initially deferred her speech pathology course at Flinders University to move to Sydney and model full-time. Olivia eventually returned to her studies and became a speech therapist specialised in paediatrics. To help fund her degree, Olivia started a business selling her own self-taught paintings and illustrations during her time at university.
After being crowned our Miss Universe Australia, there was no stopping Olivia. She has since headlined national campaigns for Diamond Exchange, Polished Man, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins and the People’s Choice Undies Run. Olivia has also rocked the mic at numerous hosting and presenting gigs for big-name clients like David Jones, SA Racing, Darwin Turf Club, Morgan & Taylor, and White Runway.
Olivia has appeared on Channel Ten’s The Project and Channel Seven’s The Morning Show on multiple occasions, as well as Channel Nine’s The Today Show, Postcards Melbourne and has graced the cover of South Australian Style and GC Magazine, You may have heard her speaking on the airwaves as a guest interviewee on with commercial radio stations across the country.

A. Olivia is 27 years old, having recently celebrated her birthday on the 17th of March.

Olivia is 5ft 9.5 inches, or 1.76 metres tall.
Q. Who are Oliver Rogers parents?
A. Olivia's parents are Nicky Klemich and Dr. Mark Rogers. Her parents divorced when Olivia was eight, and she's admitted that their split contributed to some of her adolescent anxiety and lack of confidence.
Q. Does Olivia Rogers have siblings?
A. Olivia has a sister Elenor and a brother Oscar, and she is also an older half-sister to siblings Jack and Harriet who were born after her father remarried.
Q. Where did Olivia Rogers grow up?
A. Olivia grew up in Adelaide, South Australia and still describes herself as "South Australian through and through". She attended St Andrew’s School Walkerville, Seymour College and Flinders University.
Q. Where does Olivia Rogers live now?
A. Olivia now lives in Melbourne, Victoria. She made the move to Melbourne after competing in the Miss Universe state finals in 2016.
Q. Does Olivia Rogers have a boyfriend?
A. Olivia's current boyfriend is Justin Mckeone, the 31-year old CFO of a travel and events company. The couple met at an event in January 2018 and were an item two months later, stepping out together at the Australian Formula One Grand Prix. Justin met Olivia's family in June 2018 and everything went smoothly - no one had a bad word to say about him. "He met Dad’s side and Mum’s side and everyone in between,” recalled Olivia “It was a jam-packed family weekend but it was good. Everybody loved him, he got big ticks from everyone.”
Justin regularly shares pictures of himself and Olivia on his Instagram, @juzzy_mac and it's clear that he's still head-over-heels for Olivia a year down the track. "Happy bday to the best gal I know and lucky enough to call mine" he affectionately captioned his birthday tribute to Olivia. The pair have recently starred in the Burnside Autumn Winter Campaign together, modelling next season's up-and-coming trends. How many couples can say they've appeared in a fashion shoot together?
Q. Does Olivia have any ex-boyfriends?
A. Olivia's ex-boyfriend is Andrew Pretto, a Melbourne based man who worked in commercial construction . The pair met via Tinder when Olivia was visiting Melbourne for a fashion shoot. The two dated long-distance for two months before Olivia left Adelaide and moved to Melbourne.

Q. Is Olivia Rogers engaged?
A. We don't see a ring on Olivia's finger yet, but we think Justin would be silly not to pop the question to someone as incredible as her!
Q. Is Olivia Rogers pregnant?
A. It doesn't seem as if we'll be hearing the pitter-patter of little feet anytime soon. At the time of publication, Olivia hasn't announced anything to do with a pregnancy or current plans to have children.
Q. What does Olivia Rogers do for a living?
A. Currently, Olivia is a model, speech pathologist, artist and MCC ambassador.
Q. Did Olivia Rogers have an eating disorder?
A. Although she has never been diagnosed with a textbook eating disorder, Olivia Rogers has described herself as someone who has suffered from disordered eating in the past. On her Youtube channel oliviamollyrogers , Olivia shares that it was the actions of her first modelling agency that lead to her disordered eating.
"It got to a point where they said to succeed, you should be this size, so I was told to lose weight" says Olivia. For someone who already had body image issues and a complex relationship with food, these words only served to trigger more problems. Olivia talks about how she would exercise excessively and intentionally eat insufficient amounts of food in order to lose weight. It wasn't long before this regime started to severely impact her health. She always felt cold, her hair was falling out. "All my bones started protruding, it hurt to sit down for more than five minutes" says Olivia. This only fed into her anxiety and depression, so overall Olivia felt miserable.
She moved back to Adelaide so that she would no longer be subject to the pressure that came with the modelling industry. She ditched using the scales to try and break the cycle of weight obsession and begun to exercise just to feel good, not to burn calories.

Q. Does Olivia Rogers support any charities?
Olivia is both an ambassador for Movember and Liptember, charities that raise awareness and fundraise for:
prostate cancer
testicular cancer
men's mental health
suicide prevention
women's mental health
Last year Olivia and Justin ran a half-marathon together, raising $1K for Liptember.

A. Olivia and Justin live in Melbourne with the cutest fluff ball you ever did see - Ziggy the Chow Chow. Ziggy has his own Instagram account @thechowcalledziggy, and it basically captures the adorable adventures of giant cloud with eyes. We love you Ziggy!
