Toni-Ann Singh not only exudes beauty with a purpose, but the 23-year-old Bath, St Thomas native's confidence won the hearts of millions worldwide who tuned in to the Miss World pageant, held at the ExCeL London convention centre in London, England early Saturday morning.

Singh is a dancer and advocate for mental health awareness. But, when she's not handling pageant duties, she can be found singing, vlogging, volunteering, or cooking up a storm.

1 She can actually sing classical opera!

2 She returned to Jamaica recently after living in Florida for over 14 years.

3 She is most passionate about female empowerment and recently graduated from the Florida State University, where she obtained a degree in Psychology and Women's Studies.

4 During her gap year – having taken a break from pursuing her master’s – Singh became Miss World 2019, the fourth Jamaican to receive the coveted title.

5 The stunning all-white dress she wore to the Miss World stage was a custom design from Uzuri International.

6 Singh bust a move with the popular Jamaican dance move Toast while Koffee’s hit song of the same name during the Dances of The World introductory section of the pageant.

8 As expressed in an interview with broadcaster and media personality Piers Morgan, Singh believes “…if the door is open, I’ll walk through it.”

9 She believes we’re not always honest about confidence. “It’s not that I’m just so confident and I’m not afraid…it’s that I’ve decided that something is more important than this fear. So when I’m on the stage I’m letting [girls] know that I’m scared, but I’m still here.”

10 She first sang in a choir at the Andrew’s Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kingston Jamaica.

11 Believe it or not, walking in six-inch heels did not come easy for the beauty queen, who has mastered the art with poise and confidence by way of lessons from her runway coach Sway Caribbean Model Agency CEO Jermaine Dyer.

12 Covergirl Jamaica was Singh’s primary sponsor to the competition locally.
