25-year-old Chidinma Leilani Aaron wins Miss Nigeria 2018

25-year-old Chidinma Leilani Aaron has emerged as the winner of the 2018 Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant. The pageant which was held on Sunday, November 25, took place at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. The young lady is a native of Anambra state and she represented the southeast zone. She is a graduate of business administration from Lead City University in Ibadan, Oyo state. Chidinma had emerged winner by surpassing 17 other beautiful contestants. She was awarded the cash prize of N3 million, a luxury apartment and a car. Cross section of contestants during Miss Nigeria 2018 The new Miss Nigeria succeeded Mildred Ehiguese who won the 2017 Miss Nigeria contest. Chisom Dunu and Ameh Munirah emerged as the first and second runner up in the contest.

An event as flamboyant as this, attracts the creme de la creme of the society. Socialites such a 2018 Big Brother contestant, Tobi Bakre, musicians Dede Mabiaku, Johnny Drille, and comedian Bovi, were among guests at the event. Fidelis Anosike, the organiser and chairman of Folio Media Group, noted that the Miss Nigeria pageant had improved over the years.
