The current Miss Uganda has about five weeks before she hands over the crown to another beauty queen.
Quiin Abenakyo represented Uganda at the Miss World Beauty Pageant in Sanya, China, after winning Miss Uganda 2018.
And while there, Abenakyo made Uganda proud by finishing in the third position.
The call is now on starting this Monday, if you've got what it takes, just pick up the forms as you could be the next Abenakyo.
This year's beauty contest will be held on July 26, 2019 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
"Miss Uganda has returned and the search is opening on Monday. If you have what it takes, pick up the forms and register," Brenda Nanyonjo said at a press conference yesterday.
"Unlike the previous year, we are to sieve two regional competitors in one day to beat time," She added.
Zari will be one of the judges this year like it was the case last year.
What has the Miss World Africa 2019 been up to in the last one year?
Quiin Abenakyo was able to meet Uganda's President when she returned from China and the highlight of their meeting was when he told her not to wear hair extensions.
Miss Uganda 2018 graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelors in Business Computing.
Quiin has done quite a lot, especially when it comes to keeping the girl child in school, she for example teamed up with the Rt. Hon Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga during her school tour in Kamuli District, she implored pupils to stay in school for a better future.
Quiin had to travel to Thailand where she met the other continental winners and of course Vanessa Ponce de Leon, the winner of Miss World 2018 to discuss matters to do with the 2019 Miss World beauty contest that will be held in Thailand.
During this year's Women's Day celebration in Bunyangabo, Quiin was among those that were honored with a medal by President Museveni.
The first Africa Now summit that was held in Uganda had Quiin Abenakyo as one of the key presenters, she has since appeared on several platforms talking about the girl child and other issues affecting women in general.
Queen Abenakyo travelled to Kenya in April to talk about teenage pregnancies and early marriages.
Currently, Quiin is on a campaign of lighting up 10,000 homes with solar panels, she started with the first 100 homes from her home area in Magamaga, Mayuge District.
