Andrea Toscano crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2018

Andrea Toscano, from the state of Colima, was crowned winner at the first edition of "Mexicana Universal", for which she will represent Mexico in the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. Andrea Toscano defeated 32 other contestants to win the prestigious title. "I am willing to work as a team and prepare a lot to bring the third crown of Miss Universe," said the newly crowned beauty queen.

Lupita Jones , Miss Universe 1991 who is the general director of "Mexicana Universal", said that the call will be opened for those who wish to participate in the second edition of this contest. Aranza Molina, the representative of Tabasco, took the second place; Maryely Leal, from Sinaloa, the third; Lupita Valero, from Guerrero, the fourth place. The 19 year old is currently pursuing her nutrition career and she secured the first place for traditional costume.
