Perhaps the most interesting round in any beauty pageant is the Q&A round. It is the round that not only tests the intelligence and emotional quotients of a contestant but also measures the standards they are expected to meet while participating in a beauty contest.
However, there are many instances when contestants have come up with bizarre answers to questions asked by the judges. One such incident happened recently at the Miss World Bangladesh Contest that has now gone viral on social media.
The beauty contest, won by Janatul Ferdous Oishi, had one of the most hilarious Q&A rounds. One of the contestants was baffled by a question that even a 6-year-old would be able to answer.
When one of the judges asked her, “What is H2O?”, the contestant appeared completely stumped by the question. She started smiling nervously and kept asking the judge to repeat the question.
Yes, she didn't know the meaning of 'H2O'

The judge, seeing the contestant in a state of dilemma, eventually gave out the answer and said it meant ‘water’. However, the contestant decided to defend herself and responded that there was a restaurant in Dhaka with the same name.
The video of the Q&A round has received over 1,15,000 views on YouTube alone.
But if you think the Bangladeshi contestant is the only one who made a blunder at a beauty pageant, you are mistaken.
In the year 2000, when Priyanka Chopra was asked “who do you consider to be the most successful women living in the world today”, she said Mother Teresa who had died three years earlier in 1997.
