Cairns beauty Catriona Gray crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018
CATRIONA Gray has already been judged one of the most beautiful women in the world. Now she is considered one of the most stunning in the universe.
The Cairns beauty was named Miss Universe Philippines 2018 on Sunday night, two years after being crowned Miss World Philippines.
The 24-year-old Manila-based singer, artist, TV host and model began her catwalk career while attending Trinity Anglican School in Cairns, where she shone in the classroom and aspired to work in medicine.

Catriona also dominated the awards at in Quezon City’s Smart Araneta Coliseum, winning best in swimsuit, best in long gown, best in national costume, JAG denim queen and Miss Ever Bilena.
The founder of online pageant magazine Missosology, Ric Galvez, said he was in no doubt Catriona would win.
“For many weeks she topped our Hot Picks and ... we predicted that she will take home the top prize,” he said.
Catriona will represent the Philippines at the 67th Miss Universe pageant, which was last year held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
