Catriona Gray on Saturday staged another homecoming parade --her second in just three days-- down the streets in Cubao, greeting her supporters who lined the sidewalks as they cheered her on.

Gray's Miss Universe victory last December signaled the Philippines' reemergence in the pageant --the title for which, prior to 2015 when Pia Wurtzbach won it, remained elusive for decades.

Her win, much like what happened during Wurtzbach's year, brought country together.

She was driven around the Araneta Center in a float that was patterned after the Miss Universe crown. She was smiling and waving our flag at her fans who were enthusiastically shouting her name and trying to take her photo.
