Catriona Gray gets sentimental on the eve of Bb. Pilipinas 2019

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 8) — A new Bb. Pilipinas will be crowned tomorrow, and it got reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray sentimental.

From wonky walks to dealing with body shaming, Gray shared on Instagram the journey that led her to win the coveted chance to represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe competition in the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

"One day to go before I pass on my Ms. Universe Philippines crown... sharing my journey to this moment: March 18, 2018," Gray said on her Instagram story.

Candid about her less than perfect moments, Gray gave followers a glimpse of the hard work that goes into becoming the woman who represented the Philippines to world.

"For the last time as the @bbpilipinasofficial Queen ... see you all tomorrow at the the Grand Coronation of BBP2019," Gray said.

"It's time for another empowered Filipina's life to change," the reigning queen added.
