Catriona Gray is looking back even as she gears up to co-host the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night.
It's all about looking back for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray as she shares a photo of her recreating a look she wore back in her days as a contestant for the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Catriona put up a photo of her with 2016 Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Nicole Cordoves, wearing gold and white outfits that evoke outfits they wore during their time as candidates for the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
In the caption to the post, Catriona reminded her followers that she and Nicole will be returning as co-hosts of the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant, whose coronation night is happening this weekend, July 31. This is the second time that the pair will be co-hosting the coronation night, as they already did so last year.
Their co-hosting stint was just one of the memories that Catriona looked back on in a video she recently posted on her YouTube channel.
Aside from her co-hosting stint last year, the video also showed footage of Catriona before the start of the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas coronation night, where she remarked to the camera that she felt “weird” as she was feeling like it was just a “dance rehearsal.” She also recalled how the 2018 stage represented so much to her as it was another opportunity to represent the country on the international pageant stage.
The rest of the video then tracks the years that follow, such as when Catriona returned to the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in 2019.
Aside from the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, Catriona has also been busy collaborating with other pageants in the past few months. She recently judged the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant and also took part in a photoshoot with other Miss Universe winners, specifically Miss Univese 2005 Natalie Glebova and current reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu.
Catriona's involvement in the project was met with cheers from her Instagram followers as well as from pageant insiders. The Binibining Pilipinas Instagram account, as well as Josh Yugen of the Miss Universe Bahrain Organization and former Miss Universe Denmark Helena Heuser also cheered her on.
