Catriona Gray tapped as Miss South Africa 2021 pre-show host

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 28) — Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be the pre-show host for this year’s Miss South Africa pageant, according to the local pageant's Facebook page.

She will also join Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi as one of the backstage hosts during the coronation night on Oct. 16.

In 2019, Gray was one of the judges of the local pageant.

She was also as a judge in the Miss Universe Colombia pageant last year, and hosted the Bb. Pilipinas 2021 pageant in July.

The Miss South Africa pageant selects the African nation’s representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Supranational.

Meanwhile, the next Philippine representative to the Miss Universe pageant will be chosen on Sept. 30 in Bohol.
