Demi-Leigh to judge Middle Eastern beauty pageant

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has just taken over Beirut, Lebanon, where she was judging a local beauty pageant
Both her passport and CV are filling up quickly!

Mzansi’s very own has toured the world ever since winning the prestigious Miss Universe crown at a ceremony in Las Vegas late last year. Since then, she has been spotted at some of the biggest events on the planet and has lent her expertise to a number of initiatives and causes around the world.

Over the past weekend, she took her pageantry experience to Beirut where she sat on the judging panel for the 2018 Miss Lebanon pageant.

In an overjoyed Instagram post, Demi-Leigh shared her appreciation to the organisers who considered her for the judging panel
“Thank you to the amazing glam squad in Lebanon. I loved playing dress up with you. Thank you @misslebanon for having me on your judging panel and congratulations on an incredible show!”

In the end, 22-year-old Maya Reaidy was crowned as this year’s Miss Lebanon and onlookers couldn’t help but notice that the young lady bore a striking resemblance to 1971’s Miss Lebanon who, like Demi-Leigh, went on to win Miss Universe.
