Chart-topping Brit singer plays final gig of the year - at a beauty pageant

ED Sheeran signed up for a Perfect gig as he performed at the Miss France 2018 pageant in Chateauroux.

The 26-year-old musician was joined by a bevvy of beauties who strutted down the stage in a number of revealing outfits as they competed to be crowned winner

Ed picked a banger for his final show this year.

Looking dapper in a tailored black suit and navy tie, the Shape Of You hitmaker dressed to impress for the glamorous bash.

He watched as the country's finest beauties battled it out to take home the crown.

Heats included swimwear as well as bridal gowns on the glamourous evening.

Before the show Ed took to Instagram to reflect on his momentous year.

He wrote: "Final day of work for the year today. Been the best professional year of my life, but it's flown by.

"Seems like a week ago that Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill came out.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported everything I did this year, amazing way to start the year and an amazing way to end it."

She showed off her toned tummy and endless legs on the night

He added: "Hope you all have a very merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a good break. See you in 2018 xx"

Meanwhile, in an exciting evening it was Maeva Coucke impressed head judge before being crowned Miss France 2018.

The red-head from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, impressed the panel in a gold ruffled one-shoulder dress, cheekily winking to the cameras.

She also wore a peacock inspired one piece with bright blue feathers.

The swimsuit showed off her toned legs with its high cut design.

It showed off her impressive cleavage too with a plunging neckline.

She later slipped into a skimpy two-piece, which highlighted her super-slim tum.
