Ed Sheeran wows crowds at Miss France 2018 pageant

Oh la la! Ed Sheeran is surrounded by a bevvy of beauties as he performs alongside scantily-clad stunners during Miss France 2018 pageant

He has had a whirlwind year, topping the charts with his third album Divide.

And seemed in a reflective mood on Sunday as he took to the stage to perform for the final time this year at the Miss France 2018 pageant in .

The 26-year-old musician was joined by a bevvy of beauties who strutted down the stage in a number of revealing outfits as they competed to be crowned winner.

Clad in a tailored black suit and navy tie, the Shape Of You hitmaker dressed to impress for the glamorous bash.

Ahead of the performance, Ed took to Instagram to reflect on his momentous year.

He wrote: ‘Final day of work for the year today. Been the best professional year of my life, but it’s flown by. Seems like a week ago that Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill came out.

‘Thank you to everyone who has supported everything I did this year, amazing way to start the year and an amazing way to end it. Hope you all have a very merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a good break. See you in 2018 xx’

Meanwhile, French beauty Maeva Coucke turned heads on stage as she put on a very risque display in an embellished flower bodysuit.

Featuring a plunging neckline, the clusters of purple and pink flowers were strategically place to protect the 23-year-old’s modesty.

Holding onto her chiffon netting, the red-haired goddess shone in the spotlight as she sauntered down the stage.

Head judge Iris Mittenaere ensured all eyes were on her as she strutted down the stage in a striking purple bodysuit.

Flaunting her ample assets in the revealing number, the Miss Universe 2016 title holder oozed glamour as she flashed her mega watt style.

She added a boost to her height with a pair of silver stilettos and accessorized her outfit with canary yellow feathers and accents of chiffon which glided around her.

The 24-year-old finished off the look with Hollywood curls and a slick of pink lipstick.

Maeva impressed head judge Iris with her phenomenal figure as she slipped into a range of sexy ensembles, before being crowned Miss France 2018.

Donning a gold ruffled one-shoulder dress, the starlet gave an energetic performance, cheekily winking to the cameras.

She also sported a peacock inspired one piece which featured a pastel geometric design and an array of teal blue feathers.

The swimsuit showed off her lithe limbs with its high cut design and flaunted her impressive cleavage with a plunging neckline.

She later slipped into a skimpy two-piece, which highlighted her washboard abs and striking features.

Earlier this week, Ed celebrated the two year anniversary of him ‘ditching his phone’.

The Don’t singer deleted his 20 million follower-strong account when he grew sick of the abuse he was getting from trolls who didn’t like him or his music.

And it seems he’s never looked back. Speaking to , he claimed that his life has improved ‘massively’ since quitting the mirco-blogging network.

‘All the things that get blown up on Twitter are all so, so, so negative. Nothing’s being celebrated. On Instagram it’s like, “Yay this” whereas Twitter is like, “No, f*** this”.

‘Hearing people’s opinions — especially people I’ve never met — on my character forms a sort of paranoia in you. So now not reading it gives my head a bit more of a break.

‘I think to be a creative human being you have to be a little bit f***ing weird anyway — like a little bit on the edge of madness. And when you have someone that’s on the spectrum and you basically hurl loads of insults at them, it’s going to tip them over the edge at some point.’
