Nakakande is listed among the top 30 Miss Universe UAE representatives

Former Miss Uganda 2019-2020 Oliver Nakakande is over the moon after she was listed among the top thirty Miss Universe UAE representatives.
The beauty queen expressed joy after she was named among the top thirty Miss Universe UAE representatives through her social media platforms where she wrote a lengthy message.
I feel so emotional and humbled right now to have made it for top 30 Miss Universe UAE

In the message, she explained that on growing up as a girl she experienced challenges on several issues such as violence, sexual education, adolescence, and menstrual health which up-to-date many girls are still experiencing resulting in the increase of HIV/AIDS.
She carried out research in a move geared towards being part of the team that can impact the everlasting remedy to stop these problems which is now the reason why she made it to the list of the top thirty UAE representatives

Nakakande passed the auditions stage and she will be competing for the crown on 7th November.
According to Sharihan Al Mashary one of the organizers of the pageant, unlike the previous pageants, the 30 finalists will not compete in swimwear but will rather have different pageant activities such as commercial shoots, photoshoots, preliminary activewear, evening gowns,runaway challenges and close door panel interviews.
