Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, had words of encouragement for Solange Sinclair just before she went on to win the Miss Jamaica World 2017 Pageant on Saturday night, September 23. Sinclair along with the other finalists in the Pageant had paid a Courtesy Call on Minister Grange last Friday, September 22 at the Ministry.

Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia Grange, has congratulated 24-year-old Solange Sinclair on winning the Miss Jamaica World 2017 title.
“From what I have seen of her, I am convinced that Solange will be a great ambassador for brand Jamaica as she takes on the duties of her reign,” Grange said in a news release on Monday.
Miss Grange also commended the runners up as well as the other contestants in the Miss Jamaica World finals while wishing Sinclair well for the Miss World finals in China.
Sinclair, the grand-daughter of late actress Madge Sinclair, beat 17 other finalists to take the crown on Saturday at the pageant's grand coronation at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston.
