Hannah Arnold dedicates her Bb. Pilipinas win to late family members whom she considers her 'guardian angels'

For her first post as Miss International Philippines 2021, Hannah Arnold said she is dedicating her win to her late family members whom she considers her "guardian angels."

On Instagram, Hannah posted video clips from her journey to the most prestigious crown at the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 and said, "I am beyond grateful for this blessing and am still lost for words right now. I offer this to my guardian angels - Nan, Pop, Lola and Mama Sharon who believed in me and my dreams."

"I know they were watching from above and guiding my every step last night," she added.

She ended her note strongly, "I am Hannah Consencino Arnold, your Binibining Pilipinas International 2021."

At the coronation night, the 24-year-old beauty queen strutted in her gorgeous pink evening gown, printed orange swimsuit, and wowed everyone with her answer in the Q&A portion.

In the pageant, she was asked: "Given the reach and power of social media, do you believe that genuine freedom of speech exists in the Philippines nowadays? Why or why not?"

Her winning answer was: “Freedom of speech is a basic human right that we all must remember and it is important for democracy and with the upcoming elections, we definitely need free speech.”

“On Twitter, we are limited to a few characters and what I've seen from these tweets have been powerful and helped me think of who I would like to vote for in the upcoming elections."

Hannah bested 33 other candidates on Sunday night and became Bb. Pilipinas International 2021. She will be vying for the Miss International crown this year, hoping to be the seventh Filipina to win the title after Gemma Cruz (1964), Aurora Pijuan (1970), Melanie Marquez (1979), Lara Quigaman (2005), Bea Santiago (2013), Kylie Verzosa (2016).

Three other queens were crowned: Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Samantha Panlilio, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Cinderella Obeñita, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe Maureen Montagne. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
