Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray graced the after-party held on Monday night, December 17, at Dusit Thani Bangkok.
Right after being crowned as Miss Universe 2018 on Monday, December 17, Catriona started accomplishing her duties as the reigning queen.
But the first thing she did after leaving the stage, according to her interview with ABS-CBN reporter Dyan Castillejo, was go straight to the dressing room to retouch her hair and makeup.
Afterwards, she had her first official photo shoot as Miss Universe and interview with Kalani Hilliker and analysts Carson Kressley and Lu Sierra at the CHI Lounge backstage.
It was after the interview when she got to hug her parents, Mita and Ian Gray.
What followed was a series of picture-taking sessions with former Miss Universe titleholders, the Miss Universe judges, and other VIP personalities.
Then the interview with Dyan took place.
Even with only two hours of sleep, Catriona was all smiles during the first press conference.
Then she had a short break and ate some lunch.
In the evening, she had a live interview for ABS-CBN's TV Patrol with Dyan.
Following that, she attended the after-party of Miss Universe 2018 at Dusit Thani Bangkok, where she bonded with fellow candidates.
Catriona also found time to post on her Instagram account, and that post has so far garnered over 1.6 million likes. Her Instagram followers also shot up from 600,000, when the pageant started, to 2.6 million, a few hours after the coronation night.
Catriona thanked everyone who helped her achieve her biggest dream.
She wrote, "When I was 13, my mum told me 'Honey, I dreamt of you winning @missuniverse in a red dress.'
"At that time I thought nothing of it, and today my mother's dream came true.
"Where do I even begin? Lord God, I lift everything up to you - to glorify and honour you. [thank you emoji]
"Philippines [emoji] what an amazing honor it has been to carry your name across my chest and to embody you in all aspects.
"I may now carry the sash of Miss Universe, but I'll forever be your Miss Philippines. [heart emoji]"
