There were no surprises at the grand coronation show for the Miss Jamaica World 2018 at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel Saturday night as 23-year-old Khadijah Robinson walked away with the title.
A stand-out contestant and crowd favourite, Robinson, a Hampton alumnus, held off competition from 15 other young women on her way to the coveted crown.
She won three sectional prizes including the ones for 'most photogenic' and 'best gown'.

The new queen wore a silver stunner created by breakout fashion designer, Rednarim.
Robinson will now go on to represent Jamaica at the global pageant in Sanya, China on December 8.
Issia Thelwell was first runner-up and Catherine Harris, second runner-up.
