The pandemic has been challenging for everyone and it has been tough to look for the positives. Umm, because this one word has been the most disturbing thing we have seen for the past year.
However, Dumbledore once said, - "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." And we could not agree more.
The happiness during these times is the rapid acceleration of digital trends. This had led us to be comfortable with everything that we were doing outside, in the comfort of our living rooms.
Beauty pageants have been a long-contested part of our lives. We grew up watching Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta and many others grace the ramp with confidence and realize their full potential and self-worth.
For long, they have induced our version of “Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hu” in our heads and we can’t let this pandemic ruin this Bollywood moment for us.
So, what if this pandemic canceled our plans? It can’t cancel our spirit!
Carrying on this spirit with pumped adrenaline, all thanks to Adline Castelino who won LIVA Miss Diva 2020, we’re gearing up for the launch of its 9th edition, in association with LIVA, co-powered by MX TakaTak. This time, in the search of light, Miss Diva goes digital.

A journey to empower young women started in 2013 and continues today to unmask talent by giving them a platform that leads women to manifest themselves into true blue icons. This title grooms encourages and empowers young talent to recognize their full potential that goes global.
How are they going digital?
The show must go on and so should we. The 9th edition, this year, brings young women an opportunity to apply for the auditions from the comfort of their homes. The contest commenced on 11th June and has announced a nationwide hunt to select representatives across the country.

How does it work?
The contestants will have to register themselves through online registration inviting them to submit audition tasks on India’s leading short video platform - MX TakaTak. Log on to www.missdiva.com for further details.
20 shortlisted contestants will undergo rigorous training and grooming in Mumbai to compete for the coveted crown at the grand finale in October 2021.
What’s special this time?
For the first time in the history of beauty pageants, LIVA Miss Diva 2021 encourages and calls on all Transwomen to participate to redefine beauty. The height criteria have also been eased to 5’4” for everyone which means more scope for all you beautiful ladies out there.
What are the criteria for application?
In addition to the criteria mentioned above, you have to be aged between 18 to 27 in order to participate. You are required to be an Indian passport holder, single and unmarried.
And the winner will be…
The winner of LIVA Miss Diva 2021 will represent India at the esteemed global platform Miss Universe 2021 and LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2021 will get the chance to represent the country at the Miss Supranational 2021. Sounds exciting, right?
