Did you know Manasa wishes to continue working in the field of media and entertainment after winning the Miss World 2021 title?

Manasa Varanasi is all set to represent India in the Miss World 2021 contest to be held on December 16th in Puerto Rico. Manasa is all set to stun viewers and fans globally with her charm and wit at the 70th edition of the prestigious pageant where title holders from all over the globe will assemble in a battle to win the hearts of millions along with the coveted crown.
But who is Manasa Varanasi? The humble yet gorgeous beauty queen hails from Hyderabad and is a mamma’s girl. She has constantly credited her mom as being her support system and encouraging her to pursue her dreams. Would you believe if we tell you that Manasa was once public-shy and would freeze in the middle of on-stage performances during her school days? She indeed has come a long way since then!
But it’s not always been about beauty for this queen. She holds a graduate degree in Computer Sciences from Vasavi College of Engineering. That’s not all, she’s also been a part of the corporate world. Prior to trying out her luck at India’s most coveted beauty pageant, she worked as a financial information analyst. She is also trained in the classical dance form of Bharatanatyam.
She is passionate about eradication of child abuse and helping young lives overcome trauma. As part of her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project (BWAP), Manasa has been working closely with the Telangana government and has launched the new 1908 campaign. Under this campaign, she recently urged the government to take definitive measures for women and child protection, leading to the roll out of 33 vehicles by the Women Development and Child Welfare Department for protection. Even before winning the crown in India, Manasa joined hands with a local NGO where she volunteered to teach children Maths and English.
The 23-year old prefers to practice yoga to stay fit and enjoys reading books or listening to music in her spare time. After winning the title in February, the months leading up to the Miss World 2021 pageant have been filled with thrill, excitement and learning. Her dreams post winning the Miss World 2021 title are to continue supporting causes she’s passionate about and also to make a career in the field of media and entertainment.
Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica, the last title holder will pass on the crown to the 2021 winner at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan city of Puerto Rico. Our hopes are pinned on Manasa and if her record is anything to go by, she will surely clinch the title!
