How relevant is Miss Belgium still? On the eve of the 55th edition, this is more than ever a valid question. Instead of being thrown into a TV career, the masses of the latest editions are often forgotten after a year. Darline Devos (57) continues to believe in her competition, but does not want to continue until her 74th, like her predecessor Cécile Müller. “I’m not actively looking, but if I get a good offer I’ll sell,” it sounds. Well-known ex-misses such as Véronique De Kock, however, are not eager to take over the business. And is that bathing suit parade still up to date? “I’ve never heard a candidate grumble about that.”
