FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Miss BVI 2018 A’yana K. Phillips aka 'Lady Mix' is indeed looking to mix things up as she will be seeking to win the crown of Miss World US Virgin Islands 2019 when the pageant is held on October 6, 2019 in St Croix, US Virgin Islands (USVI).
Phillips was a runner up in the Miss BVI 2017 Pageant and was crowned Miss BVI 2018 since there was no Miss BVI 2018 Pageant.
The 24-year-old Phillips attended the Charlotte Amalie High School in St Thomas, USVI.
The other contestant of the Miss World USVI Pageant is 23-year-old Malika David of Christiansted, St Croix.
The 'New' Miss World USVI Pageant 2019, to be held under the theme 'Purpose Like Never Before Seen', takes place on Sunday October 6, 2019 at the Island Center in Christiansted, St Croix.
According to the Miss World USVI Facebook page, "One Queen, will voyage to the International Miss World stage in London this year."
