“This is history being made and I’m so grateful,” Delos Santos said in a video message to family and friends. “But I wouldn’t have been able to do this without all of you, so thank you, thank you, thank you so much for all your votes, for all your support, for all your love throughout this entire pageant journey. I’m so grateful. We did it, Marianas! Thanks to all of you, we made it to Top 15!... I feel the love and I’m excited to be back home with all of you.”

During the pageant, she was one of several speakers at the Miss International Women Entrepreneurs Forum.

“To be honest, I was praying and praying for a spot in the…forum. I love forums and I felt in my heart that it was a great way for me to represent my home and my people of the Northern Marianas. Today, I made myself proud. I hope I made you all proud, too, Marianas. Everything I do, I do for our home,” she said.

“Representation does not always come so easy for us. Oftentimes, the world doubts us because we are such a small community. We are not provided the same opportunities as others. My heart is so happy to be representing my home and my people. I love being from the Northern Marianas!”
