Miss Slovensko finalist leaves pageant midway

Miss Slovensko 2018 pageant witnessed something absolutely shocking this year with Jana Kadvanova, one of the top 12 contestants leaving the pageant. The beauty queen has resigned from the pageant and no longer wishes to be a part of it.

It is a rather sad parting as there has been no fall out or misunderstanding of any kind between Jana and the Miss Slovensko organizers. The beauty queen claimed to leave the pageant due to personal reasons and is extremely upset about the same. Jana was supported by the Miss Slovensko organizers and her fellow finalists, making the ordeal easier for her.

When Karolína Chomistek, director of the Miss Slovakia 2018 pageant was asked about Jana’s decision she said, "It was her decision, she resigned for personal reasons. There is probably nothing to add to it. Of course, I respect it, it's her decision."

Clearing all concerns, she further went on to say, "It was the first time, but as it was for personal reasons, I respect it and continue on to the final with 11 girls. This year is not a substitute, but in principle, it is not a big problem."

The winner of this competition will represent Slovensko at Miss World 2018; win the Hyundai Kona, two-person holiday in Oman and other awards. The first and second runners-up will go on to the competitions Miss International and Miss Supranational respectively.
