The distinguished panel of judges
Earlier this week we discovered the identities of the pageant’s all-female judging panel that includes South African talk show icon Anele Mdoda and the reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray.

Catriona was crowned Miss Universe late last year with our own Tamaryn Green pushing her every step of the way and ultimately finishing in second place.

The Phillipino queen has a massive global following and was tipped to win the Miss Universe crown even before the pageant got underway. Catriona could now have a hand in selecting the South African entrant into the glitziest of international pageants.

The why behind Miss South Africa
Each of the finalists sat down in front of the judges this week to outline who they are and why they have entered the Miss South Africa pageant.
