Miss Teen USA is returning for a 41st year, set to air on Sept. 29 from Reno, Nev.

Known as the companion to the 2023 Miss USA pageant, both events will be held at the Grand Sierra Resort and air on the same day. Contestants for Miss Teen USA will include the winners from each state competing for the preliminary crown.

Miss Teen USA will be available to watch on The CW, which makes a new collaboration between the network and the organization.

“We are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to present viewers with a modern and progressive approach to a 70-year-old tradition, and we’re looking forward to the moment when this year’s deserving champions are crowned,” Laylah Rose, president and CEO of the Miss USA and Teen USA organization, stated in a press release.

Who won Miss Teen USA 2022?

In 2022, 19-year-old Faron Medhi secured the title of Miss Teen USA, accepting the crown wearing a black Jovani halter-neck gown with a high side slit.

Medhi was the first Miss Teen USA winner from Nebraska and will be the one to crown the 2023 Miss Teen USA winner.

“Going into my last month as Miss Teen USA with a heart full of gratitude and fulfillment. My life is forever changed because of the past year. Endless love for this organization, and I am so excited for the next girl to experience a year of self growth and unforgettable experiences,” a caption from the teen pageant winner read on Sept. 3.

How to stream the 2023 Miss Teen USA Pageant

The 2023 Miss Teen USA Pageant will be available to stream on The CW app, which is free and requires no login, and cwtv.com, which marks a new partnership between the organization and the network. In addition, the 2023 Miss USA Pageant will air on The CW on Sept. 29 from 8 to 10 p.m. EST.

The decision marks the first time in almost a decade that the Miss USA Pageant and Miss Teen USA has been broadcasted.

“The Miss USA Pageant and Miss Teen USA Pageants are time-honored traditions. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Laylah Rose and [executive producer] Renato Basile for what is sure to be a night of exciting entertainment,” Heather Olander, head of unscripted programming at The CW, said in a statement.
