Miss Uganda Foundation has postponed the yearly beauty contest to 2021 owing to coronavirus pandemic.

This means the reigning Miss Uganda Olivier Nakakande will hold onto the queen’s crown for another year.

Miss Uganda CEO, Brenda Nanyonjo, says on a positive note, 2021 will mark ten years of the Miss Uganda franchise under Kezzi Entertainment.

“We look forward to a big celebration as we crown a new queen.”

Miss World Organization through its CEO Julia Morley also announced that they had pushed this year’s edition of Miss World to next year.
