Cape Town - Newly crowned Miss World 2019, Jamaica's Toni-Ann Singh, says she wants to use her title to work for sustainable change for women.


Miss World took place on Saturday in London and saw women from around the globe compete for the prestigious title and the famous blue crown.


Now that she owns the crown for the next year, Toni-Ann will have the opportunity to travel the world, making a difference through several philanthropic projects.


The latest winner of the Miss World, Jamaica's Toni-Ann Singh, says she wants to use her award to work for sustainable change for women.


She will also get the boost needed to expand her Beauty with a Purpose initiative to the furthest corners of the world.


Sasha-Lee Olivier made South Africa proud when she placed in the top 40 at the 69th annual beauty pageant.


Toni-Ann's Miss World crowning comes just one week after South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi took the title of Miss Universe 2019.
