After the coronation of Mr. World 2019, the Miss World Organization is in full gear as they present the official list of candidates to the press this afternoon, August 29.

Held at Novotel's Versailles Tent in Cubao, the 40 candidates gave a wide smile to the press as they were presented.

The list includes GMA's very own talents Michelle Dee, Kelley Day, and Isabelle de Leon.

During the conference, Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria says he's ecstatic with the roster of aspirants this year.

"This year's batch is brimming with potential winners.

"Based on the preliminary interviews and performances, I won't be surprised if we surpass our previous track record from our previous years."

Aside from the introduction of candidates, two more titles were added from the current list of awards, namely, Miss Eco Teen International and Miss Philippines Tourism.

Gracing the event are reigning Miss World Philippines Katarina Rodriguez, Miss Multinational Philippines Kimi Mugford, Miss Reinahispanoamericana Philippines Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, Miss Eco International Philippines Maureen Montagne, and Mr. World Asia-Pacific 2019 JB Saliba.

The winning Miss World Philippines 2019 will compete in the Miss World pageant on December 14 in ExCel, London.

Catch the coronation night of Miss World Philippines on GMA's Sunday Night Box Office on September 15, 10 pm!
