Miss World T&T competition: Lawyer cops the crown

Attorney Ysabel Bisnath, 25, is the 2018 Miss World Trinidad and Tobago.

Bisnath, a former national open scholarship winner, proved a clear favourite at the final round of the pageant held on Sunday evening at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain.

The graduate of the University of Oxford in England swept the competition’s specialty awards en route to the crowning achievement, winning all three categories, including Miss Photogenic, Spirit of the Pageant and People’s Choice.
