Pia Wurtzbach lauds fellow queens Gazini, Catriona and Zozibini

After the Miss Universe 2019 pageant, Pia Wurtzbach commended Philippine bet Gazini Ganados, outgoing queen Catriona Gray and the newly crowned queen Zozibini Tunzi.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2015 queen posted photos of each of the three of them.

In the caption, Pia gave them words of encouragement, showering them with praises as they all embark on a new journey.

Pia first thanked Gazini for representing the country well during this year's competition.

"@gazinii, you are courageous. You are beautiful. And we are so proud of you. Thank you for representing the Philippines well. The rest is still unwritten!" she wrote.

Gazini ended her Miss Universe 2019 stint as one of the Top 20, after failing to make it to the Top 10.

Pia also expressed admiration to Miss Universe 2018 Catriona for being an inspiration to Filipinos.

"@catriona_gray, you have left us all feeling inspired! What a beautiful reign. Manila, she’s coming home," she wrote.

For Zozi who has just started her reign as Miss Universe 2019, Pia said, "You are strength and grace in one — truly an example of what an empowered woman is all about. Hope to meet you one day."

Catriona turned over the crown to Zozibini at the 68th edition of the pageant held in Atlanta on December 9, Monday.

Zozibini is the third beauty queen from South Africa to win Miss Universe after Demi-Leigh Nel Peters (2017) and Margaret Gardiner (1978).
