AFTER its postponement in December, the Miss World beauty pageant finally took the stage on Thursday and crowned a new queen in Karolina Bielawska of Poland.
Miss USA Shree Saini is the 1st Runner-up while Olivi Yace of Côte d'Ivoire wins 2nd Runner-up during its 70th annual edition held in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Thursday morning (Manila time).
The 20-year-old beauty-queen model confidently answered: "The most important discovery I believe that this is no one but everyday we learn something new. We all have unique experiences and all of us can learn something about ourselves and to be authentic of personal."
"What I discovered is that it caused us so little to nourish the life of others... and believe me it's worth its prize. So if you want to discover something new just try to learn to be richer in empathy, in compassion, in gratitude because we can all do it, we can all be great because we can all serve," she added.

Philippine bet Trace Maureen Perez was able to make it to Top 13 but failed to enter the Top 6.
Meanwhile, the international beauty pageant also used their stage to focus on the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.
Miss World 2020 Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica sang "The Prayer" as they lit candles during the program while Miss Ukraine 2016 Oleksandra Kucherenko shared a powerful video message saying, "Today I woke up at 5 to the sound of bomb explosion nearby. I pray to stop this war. I pray that children won't die under fire anymore, that women won't hide in shelters, and men won't suffer on the front. I pray that we, Ukrainians, would live a peaceful life on our native land."
