Lisa Tse Ga-ye in the Miss Hong Kong 2020.
Scotland-born, Lisa Tse Ga-ye, 25, was crowned the winner of the 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant on Sunday evening. She stands at 160cm.
The first runner-up was Celina Harto and the second runner-up was Rosita Kwok Pak-yin. Likewise, Maisie Kwong Mei-suen was named “Miss Friendship”.
Tse was born on August 26, 1995 in Scotland. Being of mixed-race heritage, her father is from Hong Kong and her mother is Scottish.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Edingburgh Napier University before working as a surgical nurse in a Scottish hospital. Despite her lack of fluency in Cantonese, she managed to win the admiration of the audience due to her photogenic appearance and her performance of the iconic song "Shanghai Tang.”
Tse aspires to become an actress under Television Broadcasts Limited.
She was nominated by Maria Cordero, a verteran Hong Kong singer to compete.
