The grand finale of Miss India 2022 was held on July 3 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Sini Shetty from Karnataka was crowned Miss India 2022, while Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan was announced the first runner-up at the pageant. Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh also made it big and emerged as Miss India 2022 second runner-up.
21-year-old Shinata looked resplendent in an embellished semi-sheer black gown from the label Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna at the star-studded event.
WHO IS SHINATA CHAUHAN?
Shinata Chauhan, 21, represented Uttar Pradesh at Miss India 2022 and was crowned the second runner-up at the beauty pageant.
At the age of 16, she won Miss Teen India Exquisite and represented India at the USA's Exquisite International Pageant, where she was crowned the first runner-up. She is quite active on Instagram and has over 19k followers. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu also follows her on the social media platform.

Shinata has worked with renowned designers and brands. Her first television commercial was for the brand Himalaya’s lip care product.
As for Shinata’s education, she studied at the Cambridge School in New Delhi. She graduated from Delhi University’s Gargi College. She was the school topper for seven years and scored the highest marks among her batchmates in the class 10 CBSE board exams. She also won medals in Mathematics and Science Olympiads and was appointed as the cultural secretary.
For Miss India 2022, Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora, Dino Morea and cricketer Mithali Raj were among the jury members. Designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi, and choreographer Shiamak Davar were also part of the jury panel.Live TV
