A fashion design student from Isabela is set to showcase his masterpiece at the 69th Miss Universe pageant!

Kennedy Jhon Gasper, 20, was chosen to create the national costume of Miss Cameroon, Africa Angèle Kossinda.

His school, the Central Luzon State University (CLSU), made the announcement through a Facebook post. In the comments section, Gasper thanked his teachers for their help.

”Our 3rd year student of BSFTT-FD has (been) given a big role as national costume designer to one of the candidates of MISS UNIVERSE 2021,” the caption read.

According to the post, Gasper “has proven himself as an outstanding student and fashion designer” already through his hard work.

On Monday, Gasper also posted a screenshot of Kossinda’s Instagram Story where a portrait of her and a number of his creations are seen.

Gasper is currently a third year student from CLSU. He is taking up Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Technology, major in Fashion Designing.

Rabiya Mateo, meanwhile, is also set to showcase the works of Filipinos nationwide with over 100 designer outfits brought in Florida for her Miss Universe Campaign.
