The Miss Macau Pageant is widely acclaimed as the largest, most time-honoured and prestigious pageant event in Macau. With the mission of promoting Macau culture among local residents and visitors, 15 pageant competitions have been held since its launch in 1972.

The 12 shortlisted pageant candidates – Nora Gu, Crystal Wong, Emily Chan, Emily Yau, Bobo Leong, Romi Wang, Kayii Lei, Jocelina Law, Dinelle Wong, Yammie Loi, Angelica Da Conceicao Carvalhosa and Amber Ng – will receive one-month’s intensive training sessions from experts in makeup application, etiquette, personal image, fashion styling, interpersonal communication, catwalk, and performance, to help bring out their best for the Macau final.

The grand final of Suncity Group Presents: Miss Macau 2019 is scheduled for the night of August 13, with several rounds taking place designed to test each contestant. Hong Kong famous bands Supper Moment and Dear Jane will perform at the show. Local designers have also created unique costumes featuring a Macau theme which is expected to thrill the audience.
