God forgive me for all the times I’ve asked you “why.” I get it now. You knew the plans you had for me. Plans to prosper me, never to harm me. Plans to give me hope, and a future.
Connecticut, I have longed to wear you across my heart for 5 invaluable years as a local titleholder through the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization and today I was granted the opportunity to serve you as your Miss Connecticut 2022.
My life has been forever impacted by the opportunities, support, and extended family I’ve gained through the Miss America Organization
and I am HONORED to share a unified mission to prepare great women for the world, as they have prepared me, and look forward to an incredible year together.
But for now - I am home with my family, giving glory to God, and looking for tissues cause your texts/calls/voicemails are making me sob big girl tears
