Thandoluhle aspires to become Miss Universe

She began her modelling career when she was in grade R and was announced as first princess in a pageant. After a brief time off from pageants, she made a great comeback.

Beautiful Thandoluhle Chamane has her sights set on becoming Miss Universe one day.
Eleven-year-old Thandoluhle Chamane is set to walk some of the most prestigious runways in future and hopes to bring home the title of Miss Universe one day.

She began her modelling career when she was in grade R and was announced as first princess in a pageant. After a brief time off from pageants, she made a great comeback.

She entered Miss Valentine 2019 and was named princess at the Miss Valentine pageant. She then entered the Miss Bahamas 2019 pageant and the Miss Autumn exquisite 2019 and was chosen by the judges as queen. With many more accolades under her name, the youngster opened up to the Phoenix Sun about when her love for modelling developed.

“My passion for modelling started when I was in grade R. Being placed as first princess in my very first pageant was the beginning of my love for modelling and I never looked back,” she said.

“My mum always told me from the tender age of three, I had already fallen head over heels for modelling. I would like to think that followed in my father’s footsteps because he too used to model during his high school days,” she shared.

The young and beautiful lass was described by her mother, Sindisiwe, as a humble people’s person.

“Thandoluhle enjoys helping people. She has done a lot of community work such as assisting at the Stonebridge Library, where she helped clean and sort out books. She also visited the Phoenix Home for Disabled People to hand out parcels to patients during the Easter season,” she added.

The young lass concluded, “I see myself wearing a crown for Miss Teen South Africa. I also see myself becoming Miss Universe as I would love to become one. My goals are to also do more community work and help other young women never give up on their dreams.”
