The confident “Miss Hong Kong 2021” candidates that attract mockery and jeering among citizens

11th June 2021 – (Hong Kong) The annual beauty pageant “Miss Hong Kong 2021” was carried out yesterday at TVB City in Tseung Kwan O. Many participants who signed up for the “2021 Miss Hong Kong” pageant went on a transit bus at the Lohas Park MTR Station to go to the TV City.

Many ‘prospective’ candidates arrived one after another starting at about 9.35am yesterday with full confidence. Netizens shared some of the more ‘outstanding’ candidates on social media yesterday and they attracted mockery and jeering with regards to their awkward and below-par appearance.

Even though many don’t normally judge women based on their appearance, but a beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although most contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and a contestant’s ability to answer judges’ questions on various subjects as judged criteria.
