TTPS begins probe on 'breach' of Miss World finalist's Twitter account

The Police Service (TTPS) says it has launched an investigation into a report that the Twitter account of one of the contestants of the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2020 pageant was breached.

Miss Marabella, Manisha Moonilal, reported the breach to the Cyber and Social Media Unit of the TTPS.

This follows a racial slur posted to her account.

The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Organisation has since denied the authenticity of the tweet noting that its policy is to terminate candidates' contract for such behaviour.
