Vietnam for the first time has a presence in the Big 5 Ranking for the year 2018 by the leading beauty pageant website, Missosology.
The country earned the 5th position in the Top 5 of Missosology’s global beauty chart. Vietnamese beauties had an excellent year with titles that contributed to help the country to reach a higher position by their achievements in international beauty pageants.
Accordingly, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, H'Hen Nie is the first Vietnamese beauty named in top five of Miss Universe pageant 2018. The leading beauty pageant website, Missosology said that her top 5 placement at the contest marks it as the highest historical achievement for Vietnamese beauty.
Vietnamese beauty Nguyen Phuong Khanh was crowned as Miss Earth 2018 in the Philippines in last November . She also became the first Vietnamese winner of the Miss Earth title.
Miss Vietnam 2018 Tran Tieu Vy was named among the Top 30 of Miss World 2018 while model Minh Tu finished in the Top 10 of Miss Supranational 2018.
The first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2018, Phuong Nga named was named in the Top 10 of Miss Grand International 2018 .
Vietnamese representative Huong Giang was crowned Miss International Queen 2018.
Additionally, Vietnamese beauties, inclding H’Hen Nie, Phuong Khanh,Tran Tieu Vy and Minh Tu earn nominations for the Timeless Beauty award by the leading beauty pageant website, Missosology.
Venezuela won the first place in Missosology’s global beauty rankings with its placement at Miss Earth and Miss Supranational, respectively. The country had the biggest number of representatives entering final rounds at world’s prestigious international beauty pageants.
The Philippines got the 2nd place while the 3rd and 4th positions went to Mexico and South Africa, respectively.
