Fans of Catriona Gray would wish this sight, of her standing alongside past and current titleholders of Miss Universe, is a foreshadowing of things to come for the Filipina beauty queen.

Gray, 24, is the Philippines' representative to the Miss Universe pageant this year.

On Tuesday night, she got to pose beside three queens whom she aspires to succeed: fellow Filipina Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere of France, and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa. In order, they are the crowned winners of Miss Universe starting in 2015.

The three titlists are all in the Philippines for a series of engagements, including Grit and Glam at the Okada hotel in Parañaque, where they met the winners of the World's Strongest Man competition.

It was after the event when Gray got to personally greet Mittenaere and Nel-Peters for the first time. The meeting was an opportune moment for the covering press to snap the money shot. Fortunately, the queens, including Gray, were ready to pose.

Speaking with reporters prior, Gray shared her excitement over getting to meet the two most recent Miss Universe winners." I've only met Pia out of the three. Just to be able to see them in person -- because I've seen them so much through the media -- is really nice," she said.

Meanwhile, Gray said preparations for her own Miss Universe bid are underway.

She explained: "It's starting off slowly, brainstorming the wardrobe, especially the evening gown and the national costume, make it so it's not last-minute. It's one of the most creative part of the whole process, so it's definitely one of my favorites. I'm having so much fun."

Also a past winner of Miss World-Philippines in 2016, Gray is going into her second international pageant as a "much more matured woman, with a lot more drive."

"I'm really hungry for this, and I know the responsibilities that come with it, having worked with my charities before," she said.
