The beauty of the Filipina continues to shine abroad after a dancer from a popular Philippine game show won first runner-up at the Miss Polo International 2019 pageant held in Dubai Saturday night (Sunday morning Manila time).

Ayrra Averilla, a member of the “Wowowin” dance group, finished first runner-up to Miss Indonesia Dewanti Kumala who was crowned Miss Polo International 2019.
Averilla, 25, also won the Miss Amity special award.
Second runner-up was Miss Turkey Sandra Zemaityte. Rounding off the top five were delegates from Nigeria and Thailand.
Victor Torre, national director of Miss Philippines pageant, congratulated Averilla on her victory.
“Our Philippine delegate Ayrra Averilla has proven again that Filipinos have really what it takes to win in international competitions,” Torre said.
Averilla is the second member of the daily game show “Wowowin” hosted by Willie Revillame to win in a beauty pageant this year.
A few months ago, former “Wowowin” host Janelle Tee was crowned Miss Philippines Earth. She will compete in Miss Earth in October.
Averilla said that it was really her passion to join pageants. She is expected to arrive in Manila anytime this week.
Miss Polo International pageant advocates education to young children around the world. Some 30 girls from around the world competed in the pageant.
